The same glorious presence that filled the tabernacle between the cherubim is now present in Jesus. We all can experience the unfathomable, glorious, life-changing presence of God.
THIS life… It’s hard and the giants are real. Right now, people are struggling. There is sickness, pain, loss, brokenness, depression, anxiety, fear, divisiveness, so much anger and hate, and absolute devastation. The list goes on and on. All of it feels very heavy. It can leave us wondering where is God? What’s the point, and is it even worth it?
“Our vows are a promise to love in a life-giving, sacrificial kind of way that is a daily choice no matter how we feel that day.”
God is telling the priests and US: Do what I’ve called you to do and don’t do it halfheartedly, indifferent, or pretending like you care.
YOU… are treasured, valuable, adored, known, and unfathomably loved by the God of the universe. We don’t have to earn it or work for it. Even if you have never acknowledged him a day in your life or are seeking to know Him everyday, He loves us ALL the same! Nothing we do, have done or will do can change His great love for us. We are the people he formed, created and breathed life into. However, when we love the things of the world more than God, we become forgetful that we have Father who calls us His beloved.

God is big. This is His world and he’s very present and active in it. We don’t need to invite Him in because He’s already there, but we do need to acknowledge Him and be intentional to open our hearts and minds to His presence.
